On New Years Eve, the elders of Bende gathered to endorse Benjamin Kalu and his campaign to be elected to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The gathering of patriarchs aged 65 and above, celebrated the APC candidate popularly called BenKalu for his selflessness, sacrifices and commitment to community development in Bende over the last 16 years.
