Drum Africa News reporters were at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi today for the criminal charge against Mr. Chima Anyaso for fraud and forgery. Unfortunately, the court did not sit today. According to information provided by the court registrar, Justice A. O. Faji, was away for a seminar in Abuja. All lawyers present were asked to return next week to take dates, however, the court registrar obliged the request of Mr. Anyaso’s lawyer for a court date after 18th February 2019. In a very defining moment in Bende politics, all 13 community heads of Igbere clan (traditionally called ndi-Ezeogo) unanimously endorsed APC candidate, Chief Benjamin Kalu (BenKalu) for House of Reps., Bende Federal Constituency yesterday at the Amaofufe Community Hall, Igbere. According to their spokesman, the community heads were acting in support of what their traditional rulers have already done. The free cassava processing program of APC candidate for House of Reps., Bende Federal Constituency, Barr. Benjamin Kalu which began in Amaokwe has now moved to Amaeke and Apuanu Item. The women of Amaeke and Apuanu could not hide their joy as they sang and danced for Benjamin Kalu, promising to unanimously vote him in the coming general elections. Continuing in what has come to be known as a Trump-style campaign of lies, Chima Anyaso recently bragged that he had solved the power problems of Itumbauzo and electrified the entire communities. An investigation carried out by Drum Africa News reveals that no such electrification project has been undertaken by Mr. Anyaso in Itumbauzo.
