Press Release

REP. BENJAMIN KALU WELCOMES APC REGISTRATION AND REVALIDATION COMMITTEE

The Office of Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu is pleased to welcome the APC Registration and Revalidation Committee (the “Committee”) led by Amb. Bala Mohammed to Abia State. The Committee’s presence to supervise the great influx of Bende constituents into APC bears testament to the visible good works of the party as well as the good standing of APC Abia in the national scheme.

In preparation of this important exercise, the Bende Federal Constituency Office has worked with the party on a fruitful house to house sensitization tour across the constituency, canvassing members for the party. Furthermore, a sound logistics structure has been set up to enable the party enjoy a hitch free registration and revaluation exercise. Therefore, members of our great party are encouraged to sustain the established sensitization structures. Party building remains a collective effort and we must leverage the use of town criers, town unions, partnerships with traditional and faith leaders to tell Bende and Abians what we have achieved so far in less than two years. We must court the membership of more women and the youth who were not of voting age during the last registration exercise. We must also co-opt young people aged 15-17 years who will be eligible to vote in the next general elections.

Through outstanding performance in Abia State, our great party continues to demonstrate a commitment to elevate God’s Own State to greater heights. The Office of Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu therefore seizes this opportunity to once again, openly invite the Governor of Abia State, the Speaker of the House of Assembly and other eminent Abians and leaders of the state to join hands with APC for the growth of our dear state.

Signed

Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu
