A man in his early 30s identified as Mr Chima Emmanuel from Abakiliki Ebonyi State who resides has reportedly killed, dismembered and dumped his girlfriend, Miss Mmesoma Umeora in a bush.
The suspect who resides at umunocha Awalasi village in Uga town, Aguata LGA of Anambra State was arrested by men of operation udogachi vilante on Friday, four days after he killed the deceased, right in her own home town.
Miss Umeora who hailed from Awalasi village, Uga has been missing since Friday last week without any trace.
DrumAfricanews reports that security personnel swung into action and that was how she was traced to Chima’s house, who was her ex boyfriend.
Upon interrogation, Chima said he killed Mmesoma she ended their relationship and dumped him.
He added that he tactically lured her to his resident on a goodbye discussion and strangled her singlehandedly.
Upon discovering that she was dead, he packed her remains into a sack bag, tied her body on his bike and went and dump her body inside the bush.
After several interventions to locate the missing girl, information came up that she visited Chima and that was how he was caught after some days.
As at when filing this story, Uga Town Union is warning everyone that owns a building in the village but currently staying in the city, to mind the kind of people they rent some part of their houses to because some of these people are using these building for illegal activities
