Hon. Benjamin Kalu recently sent Hon. Emma Eke, the Director General of his campaign team, to Isreal, Rome, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey on a Christian pilgrimage.

The member representing Bende federal constituency did this to enable Hon. Eke, who worked so hard during the elections to find time to return all the praises to God Almighty, deepen the spiritual journey, draw closer to God since the leadership journey only just commenced. You would recall that Hon. Benjamin Kalu did not dissolve his campaign council. Drum Africa News gathers that the team is still active and working and as usual would like to walk with God in the current leadership position and more that is expected.

At the closing ceremony of the pilgrimage yesterday, when the campaign DG was contacted by our Drum Africa International correspondent, this was what he had to say,

“I have been awarded the JP certificate, I cannot thank Hon. Benjamin Kalu enough for the privilege to be part of this spiritual journey, I prayed for our project and all is well and will ever end in praise. I had the opportunity of ministering in one of the evening service and testimonies are coming in to the glory of God.“

Honourable Benjamin Kalu had this to say when contacted by our correspondent,

“He [Hon. Emma Eke] deserved to be the first to visit the holy land for thanksgiving, prayers and deepening his relationship with God. The best gift is to seek God first and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added. God brought our victory using men and it is only fair to go thank Him first before asking Him for more. Our political journey only just commenced and to get to our destination, we need to put God first in all that we do. By this year, other people from Bende will also have the privilege of going on this spiritual journey.”
