Bende stood still on Sunday, February 19th, 2023 as the member representing Bende Federal Constituency and House of Reps Spokesperson, Rep. benjamin Kalu rounded up his ward-to-ward campaign tour across wards in Bende Federal Constituency.

HRM Eze Patrick Udeh while receiving the lawmaker at his palace applauded him for his strides in the Green Chambers saying that he has indeed made Bende proud.

He prayed for blessings and protection in preparation for the big day which he expressed confidence would end in victory.

Rep. Kalu visited other villages of Bende town, including Okporoenyi, Etitiulo, Okpuotong, and Umuorie where constituents gracefully received him amidst jubilations, singing, and dancing.

Stakeholders from the different communities took turns to appreciate the Representative for making the community proud in so many ways through his outstanding records at the House of Representatives.

They stressed that all hands remain on deck to see that on Saturday they continue their celebration as he clinches victory again to return to the House of Representatives.

A Chieftain of the community, Mr. Chimezie Kalu while addressing the people said:

“The work he has done is enough campaign for him. Truthfully he should be given 100% votes and this time Bende will show him that they are proud of him. We will vote and we will protect it.”

Also speaking, Barr. Okezie Usim, a stakeholder of Bende Ward described Rep Kalu as a Child of Consolation who has put Bende not just in the nation’s map but the world at large. He stressed that the community is ready to work to secure his victory. According to him;

“We haven taken it as a challenge to surprise the Rep. Kalu with the number of votes that will come from Bende. Come rain, come sunshine, we have taken this as our own battle and project. We will make a bold statement on Election Day.

This is only the beginning of this journey as we will all be here one day when the prefix ‘His Excellency’ will be attached to his name”
