The Member representing the Bende Federal Constituency Rep. Benjamin Kalu has awarded an instant scholarship to a young artist from Okputong in Bende who presented with a beautiful hand-painted portrait as a gift to him.
Mr. Daniel Ekeke while presenting the hand-painted portrait to Rep. Kalu described him as a light to Bende and an inspiration to many young people adding that he felt the need to draw the portrait in appreciation for all the ongoing and completed projects facilitated by the Honorable Member across the constituency.
The Representative who received the heartwarming gift with much delight and gratitude announced the award of a scholarship to Mr. Daniel Ekeke through his University Education at his Country home Agbamuzu Bende on Saturday 22nd October, 2022.
Rep. Kalu while appreciating the creativity of the young talent Daniel Ekeke, encouraged him to remain focused in his chosen career, and vowed to support and empower any form of creativity from his constituents. He further called on well meaning Nigerians to support young talents like Mr. Daniel.
The presentation of the portrait to Rep. Benjamin Kalu was witnessed by some stakeholders in Bende including Hon. Chijioke Chukwu (Member representing Bende North State Constituency), Professor Victor Ukaogo, Elder Emma Trumps Eke (DG BenKalu Campaign Organization), Chief Daniel Akwari (Osuzo) and host of other dignitaries.
