Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, the Member representing Bende Federal Constituency who doubles as the Spokesperson of the House of Representatives has sent his warm wishes to the former governor of Abia state and Senator Representing Abia Central Senatorial zone in the Senate who celebrated his birthday few days ago.
In a release by the Spokesperson, he expressed regrets for his inability to celebrate the Senator on his birthday for reasons beyond him. He recalled the days when he worked as the SSA to the former Governor on the MDGs, expressing the good relationship they built which has lasted till this day.
Rep. Kalu prayed that as the Senator celebrates his 71st birthday, he will live to celebrate more years in good health and prosperity.

The news of your birthday came to me at a time when I was indisposed and unable to send my wishes, however, it is better late than never.
It is always a delight to celebrate you particularly as a former boss, reminiscing old times and recounting the good working relationship that existed during my years of service as the Senior Special Assistant on Millennium Development Goals and International Relations.
From my time as the Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government till I served in the State Cabinet, I must acknowledge your depth of knowledge in public service and how it works, your guidance in reforming our perspective on several issues has been invaluable. I am glad that this relationship has been sustained long after my service to the state at a family level.
As you celebrate one year post the biblical ‘3 score 10’, It is my prayer that you live longer to celebrate many more years to come in good health and prosperity.
