Following the outpouring of love, wishes and prayers for the Representative, Member representing Bende Federal Constituency and Spokesperson of the House, Rep. Benjamin Kalu has penned down a heartfelt message to his constituents, friends and well wishers.
In a statement signed by the lawmaker, he acknowledged the prayers that came from far and wide in various mediums, expressing his delight as he read through the messages and wishes.
He further reaffirmed his commitment to continue in his duty of delivering the dividends of democracy and good governance to the people, adding that what they have seen is just a tip of the iceberg.
Rep. Kalu assured the people of more to come and he prayed for God’s blessings.
He wrote;

THANK YOU
Today, I wish to sincerely thank you all for the avalanche of love, wishes and prayers you showered on me yesterday.
In many ways you have continually overwhelmed me with your love and support, I read with delight the very thoughtful messages you penned down through various mediums and I count it a great blessing to be your representative.
Words may not suffice to truly express how I feel. It was elating and indeed humbling. But more importantly, it has strengthened me for the journey ahead.
I therefore remain resolute in my commitment to delivering quality representation and the mandate of my people. I want to assure you that the development you have seen is only the beginning of good things to come in Bende Federal Constituency. I will not relent in this duty of delivering the dividends of democracy to the length and breadth of our communities.
Once again, please accept my sincere gratitude for all the love you have shown me. I do not take it for granted.
