Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu Ph.D, the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House Of Assembly has heaped Praise on the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House Of Representative, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu following his efforts in addressing the severe Humanitarian crises in the South East region.
In a statement issued to the media, Rt. Hon. Uchendu particularly eulogized the astute law maker for convening round table discussions with International non-governmental organizations and government agencies.

I commend you for your leadership and unwavering dedication in addressing the severe humanitarian crisis in the South East region. Your efforts in convening the Roundtable Discussion with international non-governmental organizations and government agencies are truly commendable, as they provide a much-needed platform to collaboratively tackle the pressing ecological challenges and humanitarian issues facing over 268,000 internally displaced persons in the region.
Your recognition of the importance of sustainable solutions, along with your call for continued support and partnership from INGOs, government agencies, and the private sector, demonstrates your deep commitment to alleviating the suffering of your people and ensuring their long-term well-being.
Your advocacy for legislative support, as well as your focus on critical areas such as education, healthcare, nutrition, and shelter, reflects your vision of a more resilient and thriving South East, and indeed, a stronger Nigeria as a whole.
I have no doubt that, with your leadership and continued efforts, positive change will be realized, and the lives of those affected will be restored with dignity and hope.
