    Member representing Bende Federal Constituency and the Candidate for the Office of the Deputy Speaker for the 10th Assembly, Rep. Benjamin Kalu has celebrated children across the Nation on this year’s Children’s Day celebration.

    The Representative in a congratulatory message stated that children are the hope for a brighter tomorrow and a sustainable nation and as such a conducive environment for growth should be secured for them. He added that it is a task for the older generation and they should remain committed to it.

    Rep. Kalu further stated that the 10th House of Representatives will also commit to strategic legislative interventions with impact on the Children in the Society just as it was prioritized in the 9th Assembly.

    He wished the Children a day filled with Joy, happiness and abundance of love.

    The Statement reads;

    May 27th , 2023

    HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY

    Today offers us another opportunity to celebrate the incredible potential and boundless energy of our young ones. This special day serves as a reminder of the importance of nurturing and supporting the future leaders of our society. I take this opportunity to celebrate all children of Bende Federal Constituency, our Nation and the World at large.

    Children’s Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the unique qualities that children bring to our lives. Their innocence, curiosity, and zest for life inspire us all. It is our responsibility as adults, parents, educators, and policymakers to ensure that they are provided with a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive.

    As a firm believer that education is the cornerstone of a prosperous society. I remain committed to enhancing the educational opportunities for children in Bende Federal Constituency and our Nation.

    However, education alone is not enough. The health and well-being of our children are equally paramount.  My dedication to improving healthcare facilities and promoting preventive healthcare measures to ensure that every child has access to quality healthcare remains unwavering.

    Just as the 9th House of Representatives prioritized legislative solutions with impact on children in the society, the 10th House will also follow suit to implement strategic legislative interventions for Children, policies that will protect the interest of the Children ensuring that their future is not jeopardized.

    As we celebrate this Special Day, I reaffirm my dedication to the well-being and development of our children. Together, we can create an environment where every child has equal opportunities to succeed and thrive. An environment where every child is protected, nurturing their dreams, and guiding them towards a bright and prosperous future.

    Once again, Happy Children’s Day to all Children. May you experience a day be filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love.

    Signed,

    Rep. Benjamin Kalu

    Spokesperson, House of Representatives

    Member, Bende Fed. Constituency
