Today, as Christians celebrate Mothering Sunday, Member representing Bende Fed. Constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu has sent warm greetings to mothers in Bende and across the world.
The Representative in a heartfelt message stated that mothers are true blessings from God having unique abilities to nurture and grow whatever is placed in their care. He specially thanked the mothers of Bende for constantly showering him with love and care in various ways.
Rep. Kalu prayed that the Almighty God continues to strengthen all mothers as they keep being the backbone of society urging them to remain steadfast in nurturing children who will become assets to their homes, communities, and our nation, Nigeria.
He wrote;

Mothering Sunday is a time to celebrate and honor the incredible role you play in shaping our lives and our world. As a mother, you are a constant source of love, support, and guidance. You sacrifice, unwavering dedication and strength are truly inspiring.
Being a mother is not always an easy role, and the challenges you face can be daunting. However, your resilience, selflessness, and love for your children make you the true heroes of our society.
I am especially grateful for the constant love and support in continually receive from Bende women, a motivating factor always.
On this Mothering Sunday, I pray the the Almighty God continues for fortify every mother with strength and grace as you keep being backbones of the society.
