Association of Abia State Town Union Bende Chapter Seeks Partnership with Rep. Benjamin Kalu, Pledges Support.

The Association of Abia State Town Union Bende Chapter has indicated its interest in partnership with the Member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu in the development of Bende Federal Constituency, pledging support as the elections approaches.

 

The group made their intention known when they paid a courtesy visit to the Representative at his Country home Agbamuzu Bende on Monday, October 2nd, 2022

The Coordinator, Commandant Chris Okoronkwo who spoke on behalf of the delegates appreciated Rep. Kalu for his developmental strides in Bende Federal Constituency, adding that he has left his footprint in almost all the communities in Bende, He added that this is the reason they have thought it wise to partner with him to ensure that more impact is made through his leadership. Commandant Okonkwo went further to state that the group had also decided to give him their unalloyed support in his reelection.

 

The group is made of President Generals from the twelve clans in Bende Federal Constituency, including Alayi – Chief Emeka Eze, Bende – Barr. Peter Ndukwe, Ezeukwu – Chief Owo Chukwu, Nkpa – Dr. Emmanuel Nwaji, Igbere – Comrade Godswill Awara, Item – Chief Kingsley Ogba Nwokoro, Itumbauzo – Chief Jerome Dogo, Ozuitem – Chief Idika Orji, Umuhu – Barr. M. S. Agwu, Umuimenyi – Chief Jonathan Nwosu, Ugwueke – Chief Okorie Christopher, Uzuakoli – Chief Chilasa Kanu. 

 

In his acceptance remark, Rep. Benjamin Kalu identified the President Generals as critical players in community development and admonished them to be ambassadors of truth in their various clans. He encouraged them to continue engagement with their community members to ensure they participate actively in the forthcoming elections.

 

The lawmaker appreciated them for finding time to identify with him, assuring them that the partnership will yield results and make much impact on the lives of Bende Constituents.
