The member representing Bende Federal Constituency and spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Kalu is set to launch an Ultramodern ICT center in Bende. Hon. Kalu made this known when he visited the center to inspect the progress of ongoing project.
While speaking to a Drum Africa Correspondence, Rep. Kalu expressed satisfaction at level of progress recorded in the project, stating that it is a dream come through as he had long anticipated a time when the youths of Bende will have access to well-equipped ICT training centre to enhance their proficiency and training in the use of ICT for self-reliance and capacity building among his constituents.
He added that the ICT center when in use will enhance the economic activities in Bende Federal Constituency and create more opportunities for personal development among the teeming youths of Bende Federal Constituency.
A member of the community who identified himself as Mazi Onwukwe Chidi was on ground during the inspection appreciated Hon. Benjamin Kalu for his developmental strides in Bende Federal Constituency and vowed that his community will reciprocate this kind gesture from Hon. Benjamin by returning him elected as their representative come 2023 general election.
Highpoint of the inspection visit include, the testrunning of the computer sets, inspection and testrunning of the solar energy system and a soundproof generator set that supplies power to the centre.
Hon. Benjamin Kalu was accompanied by his Director General of Benjamin Kalu Movement/campaign organization, Elder Emma Triumphs Eke, Professor Victor Ukaogo, Chief Daniel Akwari, his legislative aids and members of his campaign team.
