Hon. Benjamin Kalu (Member, Representing Bende Federal Constituency) today received Nzuko Bende na Abuja (Association of Bende People in Abuja) at his office in the National Assembly.

Speaking for the delegation, the Chairman of the association explained that the reason for their courtesy visit was to congratulate Hon. Kalu on his stellar performance so far at the House of Representatives and for the several projects he has sponsored in Bende Federal Constituency.

They also seized the opportunity to identify a few areas of need for the government including but not limited to; provision of school chairs for Bende community schools, provision of more healthcare centers in Bende, and employment and empowerment opportunities for youths in Bende.
The delegation ended by pledging the total support of their association to Hon. Kalu.

Hon. Kalu in his reply thanked them for the courtesy call and commended the association for their patriotic spirit, selflessness and leadership skills which they exhibited by not forgetting about the welfare of the people of Bende.

He stressed that the responsibility of developing Bende is not a one-man job and urged the association to always act in the interest of Bende.

Hon. Kalu went further to outline the various capital projects in favour of Bende Federal Constituency which he successfully represented to the Federal Government for input in the 2020 budget.

He reiterated his love for Bende and his commitment to his political philosophy “maka odinma Bende”.

He urged Nzuko Bende Abuja to adopt this mantra in their various wards as representatives of Bende Federal Constituency.
