Members of the Benjamin Kalu Campaign Council were sworn in today at the campaign office of the APC House of Representatives candidate situated in Uzuakoli, Bende, Abia State.
The swearing in ceremony was led by Mr. Perfecf Okorie, the State Party Secretary, APC, after which he charged everyone to be diligent in their roles.
The APC candidate, Chief Benjamin Kalu in his exhortation to the Council urged the newly sworn in members to put in their best efforts to promote all APC candidates from the federal down to the grassroots level.
He enjoined the Campaign Council to ensure that members are assigned to the right committees based in their individual areas of strengths m, stressing the need to fit round pegs in round holes and square pegs in square holes.
Addressing the Council, Chief Francis Egu, a top APC stakeholder in Abia state called on the newly sworn in council members to humble themselves in their duties to ensure that ego, money and other physical attractions did not jeopardize the project.
The APC Chairman, Bende LGA ended the meeting with a vote of thanks and words of encouragement for the newly sworn-in council members.
