The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), HRH Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has said that the reports alleging that the marriage between his son, Elijah Chibuzor, and his wife has broken down are all lies.
Eze Chibuzor in a statement shared on his official X handle,said the his sone and the wife were recently at an immigration office to process their international passports ahead of a planned holiday trip to Canada.
He said that arrangements have already been made for OPM-sponsored students currently studying in Canada under the church’s university scholarship scheme to receive and take care of the couple during their stay abroad.
“Please ignore any fake news of government nullification of their marriage. Their marriage is intact. It is just a fragment of imagination of enemies of progress,” he wrote.
The cleric stated that the trip and welfare of the couple are being funded through tithes and offerings from members of OPM Church.
Apostle Chibuzor also reiterated his commitment to supporting his son’s wife, revealing that she is on a lifetime salary with the responsibility of caring for Elijah and building a happy family with him.
He added that she would receive an additional N20 million in 10 years if Elijah remains alive, separate from her monthly allowance.
The OPM founder stressed that every human being deserves happiness and urged people to focus on spreading love and kindness.
