In his acceptance speech, the Mgbidi-born infrastructural development guru appreciated wholly his benefactor, master, boss, and brother, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for giving him a platform to excel in building Imo of everyone’s dreams.

Nze Nwosu described it as satisfying that in today’s Imo State, contracts are awarded, delivered and achieved with adequate supervision by the Ministry of Works and infrastructural development, due to the exemplary leadership of Governor Uzodimma.

He said that under the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma, Imolites can see that their taxes are being utilised to create a better tomorrow for them and their children.

Nze Nwosu said that there is a mighty difference between the Imo State of today and Imo some years back, as most of the positive changes in infrastructure are now visible even to the blind and audible even to the deaf.

A Delegation From Oru West

He charged the Orlu Zone leaders to work in synergy and support Governor Hope Uzodimma because he has done noble work for the state and entire zones in Imo State and will do many more.

“We are not stopping in developing Imo, building cities and infrastructures more reasonably, connecting roads, etc. Watch out for rapid works,” Nze Nwosu said.

The commissioner, who is very popular amongst his kinsmen in Mgbidi, received a loud ovation from a large number of Oru West delegates led by Dr Chris Ekwueme, another bonafide son of Mgbidi, to cheer him up and congratulate him on the meritorious award by Orlu Zụrụmee.
