As the world celebrates Fathers today, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rep. Benjamin Kalu has appreciated all fathers and father figures in Bende and across the Nation wishing them a Happy Father’s Day.
Rep. Kalu in his message, acknowledged that fatherhood is a significant role that builds the core of the society through their experience, lessons and support and should be celebrated, adding that fathers are pivotal to the growth and development of not just the family, but communities and the nation at large.
Rep. Kalu prayed for God’s grace and blessings for all fathers while urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to the sacred role of fatherhood:

On this special occasion of Father’s Day, I take this moment to acknowledge and celebrate the significant role Fathers play in the lives of their children, families, communities and our society in general. Your dedication, and guidance shape the future generation, contributing greatly to the core of nation building.
Being a father is a profound responsibility, that requires strength, patience, and commitment. Providing support, nurture and mentorship to children, and instilling the right values through your actions and words.
As we celebrate this day, I encourage all Fathers to continue to be good role models to the families that you represent. It is my prayer that you never lose your ability to provide, lead and protect your families.
To all the fathers of Bende Federal Constituency and across the nation, I celebrate you on this special day. May the grace of God remain sufficient for you and May his blessings be evident in your lives as you continue to carry out this sacred role of fatherhood.
