APC Consensus Candidates for the Office of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Tajudeen Abbas and Rep. Benjamin Kalu today paid a courtesy visit to the wife of the President, Senator. Oluremi Tinubu at their private residence in Abuja with other members of the Joint Task team and women in parliament to congratulate her on a successful inauguration and transition into the new administration.
The First Lady who was joined by the wife of the Speaker of House of Representatives Mrs Salamatu Gbajabiamila, the APC women leader Dr Betta Edu, Senator Aishatu Binani APC Guber Candidate in Adamawa and other distinguished female Senators received the duo warmly.
The Consensus Candidates for the Office Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Abbas and Hon. Kalu took time to congratulate her on a successful inauguration and a smooth transition to the new administration. While She assured them of her support adding the party made the best decision nominating them on the basis of inclusion and merits.
She also urged them to ensure that women are well represented in the 10th House of Representatives as they protect and project gender equality in their leadership.
