Member representing Bende Federal Constituency and APC consensus candidate for the Office of the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly received a delegation from the Southern Kaduna Youth Development Association who paid him a courtesy visit in solidarity with the decision of the party on the zoning arrangement of the 10th Assembly Leadership.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Tabitha Iwaslshik said that they had come to identify with the representative who they believe, having followed his track records and pedigree will make a good Deputy speaker in the 10th Assembly. They added that in the bid to show their support, they will go to all their representatives to canvass and convince those who are not already in line with the party’s mandate to do so.

They emphasized that the Rt. Hon Tajudeen-Abbas and Hon Benjamin Kalu ticket is one which they are fully committed to seeing it come to fruition in the 10th House of Representatives and they are ready to do their part to make it a reality particularly as the Incoming Speaker is also from Kaduna State.

Also speaking during the meeting, another Member Hajia Salamatu Yahaya, prayed that the Almighty will grant them victory come June 13th and crown their all efforts with success.

Hon. Kalu in his response appreciated them for coming to show solidarity with the movement. He stated that the beauty of the Nation lies in its diversity adding that it is important for everyone comes together and drive National policies that will drive development irrespective of tribe and religion as it is done in other countries.

He commended them for having a mix of Muslims and Christians in their delegation stating that it depicts the unity and strength of the association.

Hon. Kalu also commended the Christians for standing for the faith in Southern Kaduna regardless of tough times while urging them to continue praying for the movement to become a success. He assured the association that the position is for all Nigerians and he will ensure that everyone is duly accommodated.
