As Muslims mark the end of this year’s Ramadan Fast in celebration of the Eid Al Fitr, Spokesperson of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Bende Federal Constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu sent his congratulatory message praying for unity and peace of our Nation, Nigeria.
The lawmaker stated that this is a moment of reflection on the significance of this auspicious celebration which is the triumph of good over evil. He added that this is also a time to pray for the peace of the Nation particularly in this period of transition to a new administration.
He prayed for Allah to continue to shower his blessing on their families and loved ones as the prayers they have made manifest fruitfulness.
He wrote;
I congratulate all our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world on the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and the joyous celebration of the Eid Al Fitr.
Today offers another moment to reflect on the true spirit of Eid Al Fitr, which is about celebrating the end of Ramadan and the triumph of good over evil. It is a time to pray for unity, peace and prosperity of our Nation, Nigeria particularly in this period of transition to a new administration.
As you celebrate this special occasion, I pray that Allah continues to shower his blessings upon you and your loved ones.
May the prayers you have offered these past month yield fruitful results for our Nation as we strive to attain greater heights in governance and development.
