Let me start by first congratulating you on your well-deserved victory at the polls, and again to say it came to pass; an assertion that’s been tested several times and has recently been proven by your victory.

Therefore, to accord you titles like ‘Destiny Child’, ‘Covenant Child’, ‘Atakata Agbufuo’, and ‘Olile Anya Ndi Abia’, is not a mere bootlicking but a validation from years of close assessment of your attributes and personality.

You’re a very consummate and sagacious politician who does not take anybody for granted, irrespective of the person’s status. You are not among those flippant political turncoat who has shamelessness wired in their DNA that hold moral decency in arrogant contempt. As a friend I have taken time to study your political odyssey closely from not too far proximity, and have strong vivid revelations about a clearer path you will chart for Abia people in the near future- an authentication of that befitting tittle, ‘Olileanya Ndi Abia’. Do not consider me a rabular-rouser for saying this and for more insight that I will highlight below.

Your tenderness of heart and readiness to forgive are traits of character that you have conducted and displayed all through.

As an intelligent observer, I noticed and witnessed all manner of zigzag movements, razzmatazz, with nocturnal meetings preceding the build up to your election where all their highest level of betrayals were hatched; while some became Judas Iscariot instanta, others chose between Brutus and Esau, according to the level of their wicked heart. Some cadre or comrades dislodged from the mainstream and swore to stop Ben and undo his ambition to bring relief to our people irrespective of what it will cost them and how deadly the commitment, others were willing to smash their balls (assuming they have any) in their quest to achieve their wicked aim.  A relatively unknown party handed their agents a stern marching orders to go to the polling units and work against Benjamin Kalu. Town criers were engaged and mobilised, fault finders were commissioned and banana pills were laid. The unrepentant shrewd contriver whose stock in trade is in blackmailing and character assassination were at work again. Some people played God, others claimed to be kingmakers, some claimed to be political mavericks while others claimed they are Idi Amin of our time who can appoint and dismiss at will, but in all these, in spite of the blitz onslaught against you in all this unholy alliance God still proved Himself (Madu aburu Chukwu]. “Who God bless no one can curse”, like Bob- Marley will say. Again the bible says in Psalms 34: 19, “Many are the affliction of the righteous: But the Lord delivereth him out of them all”. Your victory at the poll has demystified some myths and as well as punctured some might and has cut them to size and their wings clipped. How I wish this

feat can humble them to know that  again, “Madu aburo Chukwu”.

Ndi Bende has proved that it is no longer business as usual, in one voice they are like the biblical blind Bartimaeus who said, “I used to be blind, but now I can see“. Unfortunately, some people who claimed to be godfathers and some political gladiators scored an own goal in the last election in their attempt to play God.

Again, people tend to forget easily that this world is like a parade ground, where at a shout of “about-turn” the last becomes the first and vice-versa.

Utabiri, the more I get to know people, the more I realize why Noah only allowed animals in the ark. What hurts the tree most is not the axe, but that the axe handle is made of wood. Most times betrayals come from very close and loved ones; it is not the stab in the back that kills you it is when you turn around and see who is holding the knife. Sometimes, the person you take the bullet for is the person behind the trigger. People forget easily that trust does not come with a refill. Once it is gone, you probably won’t get it back, and if you do, it will never be the same and that’s a fact. People push you to your limit but when you finally explode and fight back you became the mean one.

My advice, Judas Iscariot was everywhere with Jesus while Joseph of Arimethea followed from a distance, don’t confuse eye- service for loyalty, and never use what you got by grace to disgrace others. The dice is still rolling.

Your political apprentiship is in the public domain, as a servant you were honest, diligent, faithful, and zealous, as serving God as well as man. You have been proven faithful in the discharge of your duty and your ability to bear under provocation and remain calm is classical. This is seen on how you were able to deal with the grandiose plans by within and household enemies to stop your re-election. What played out on the Election Day is a far cry from the norm. To be candid, the scenario is a microcosm of the dreaded Armageddon, so to speak, but in all these, you remain “NWACHINEMERE”.

If they act like without them you can not survive, throw them in the bin like a used tissue paper. Only God holds your destiny; when it is your time even your clock will work without battery.

Your election victory reminds me of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, sometimes God will put a Goliath in your life, for you to find a David within you. How David only took his staff and his sling and five stones in the bag and went for the engagement, the giant was killed by the first stone slung. The joyful song sang by the women when they went to meet the conqueror after the battle, “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands”, made Saul jealous and angry.

What more can I say my friend than what is written in Romans 12:19-21. “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink; for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good”.

For sure some people will never support you because they are afraid of who you might become, again others will never like you because your spirit irritates their demon, but I tell you not to give up your goodness even if people around sting you.

Greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take some kicks, some disappointment when sadness comes. Again, if someone treats you bad just remember that there is something wrong with them not you. Normal people don’t go around destroying other people.

Relationship is like a glass, sometimes it is better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.

Finally I want you to chew upon this, outstanding leaders appeal to the heart of their followers, not their minds. If you reflect on the most well-remembered political leaders in American history, you’ll find men who were able to grip the hearts of the people; Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Reagan. It’s not about partisanship, It’s about the ability to cast a vision, to empathize, to spark hope, to speak to the heart. It’s not that these leaders didn’t use logic; they just travelled beyond logic to win the heart of their audience.

While having a roudeviour with destiny, I am rooting hard for you. Gawa, gawa, egwu atulagi, ujo atulagi, Chukwunonso.

Let me conclude by saying that there is only one thing I want to be remembered for: that I spoke the TRUTH unafraid.
