The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for House of Representatives, Bende Federal Constituency, Pastor John Ukeh has declared his decision to step down for the reelection of APC Flagbearer, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, pledging his full support to him.

The ADC candidate while making this announcement stated that Rep. Kalu through his excellent performance and outstanding record at the House of Reps deserves to go unopposed stressing that anyone contesting against him is an enemy to Bende Federal Constituency as he deserves to be a consensus candidate.

Speaking to a Drum Africa Correspondent, Pastor. Ukeh described the Representative as a performer and high flyer who has taken development in Bende to a new dimension. He further added that he is working tirelessly with the members of his party African Democratic Congress (ADC) across all wards in Bende Federal Constituency to ensure that the victory of the Representative is secured.

According to him:

“I have decided to step down for Rep, Benjamin Kalu and give him my full support because as I have said before, it is only a bad man that will not see the good works of Rep. Benjamin Kalu. We are all eyewitnesses, even the little children are mentioning his name wherever you go even those who haven’t seen him before.

I am not alone, all the members of ADC in Bende Federal Constituency are giving him our full support and we are working for him to make sure that he wins this election to continue his good work because we know that he is a good man who is willing to serve his people selflessly. We will continue sensitizing people to vote for him for the good of Bende just like his motto says – Maka Odinma Bende”

Rep. Kalu who received the ADC candidate at his country home at Agbamuzu Bende appreciated him for his kind words adding that he is always delighted to see constituents recognize the truth and are not afraid to speak it out. He thanked him for his support and assured him that he will continue to make Bende proud.
