The bizarre onslaught against Hon. Benjamin Kalu, by the losers, the n’er-do-wells, and the ever ubiquitous haters, is to say the least, nauseatingly sickening….even to insane minds.

But wait a minute!

Hon. Benjamin does NOT in any conceivable way deserve this shamefully orchestrated but poorly executed plot to put a stain on his hard-earned and well- applauded legislative achievements.

Nonetheless, He, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, asked for this onslaught.

He asked for it when he veered away from the common but accepted practice of embezzlement of public funds by elected representatives…..with impunity.

He asked for it when he started constructing rural roads, classroom blocks, solar power grids for rural dwellers

He asked for it when he dared to construct modern bridges over dilapidated death traps in communities that had been neglected by politicians for decades.

Benjamin threw the first punch when he started empowerment programs through the provision of IT centers for unemployed and idle youths.

He drew the ire of the haters when he started empowerment programs targeting rural dwellers through the provision of skill deployment tools like sewing machines, hair dressing equipments, generators and tricycles to help his constituents earn honest living.

They hated him for daring to improve community health through the construction and provision of drugs for community health facilities all over his constituency.

Hon. Benjamin Kalu became a much sought-after innocent target by haters, when his unequalled performances as a legislator predictably exposed the gross failures and the embezzlement of public funds by his predecessors.

This sordid onslaught against the person of Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is all too familiar and predictable.

Our society has dwelt for so long on the left side of the moral divide, hence the appetite for the destruction of positive influences by attacking the person of the Hon. Ben, whose positive influences in the sociopolitical terrain remains unarguably the best in the South East.
