In a statement by the Representative, He acknowledged that fatherhood is a significant role that builds the core of the society through their experience, lessons and support and should be celebrated, adding that fathers are pivotal to the growth and development of not just the family, but communities and the nation at large.

Rep. Kalu prayed for God’s wisdom and sustenance for all fathers while urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to the progress of the nation through nation-building.

He wrote:

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ALL FATHERS OF BENDE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AND ACROSS THE WORLD

Father’s Day is a time to recognise, appreciate, and celebrate the fathers and father figures who have continuously fulfilled the responsibility of fatherhood in shaping lives for the better. Fathers through their guidance, advice, support, and love are of great significance to the core of nation-building and the development of society.

On this special day, I am delighted to join the world to celebrate all Fathers, for all that they impart in character and perspective, lessons borne from experience, and the sacrifices made from love. I am especially grateful to the Fathers of Bende Federal Constituency who have shown me nothing but love through their advice and support since my resumption to office, this has been a great motivation on this journey.

It is my earnest prayer that the Almighty God continues to sustain all fathers, fortifying us with grace and wisdom to remain committed to this sacred calling and pivotal role in society. I also urge us all to remain steadfast in praying for the peace and progress of our communities and nation alike.

Once again, Happy Father’s Day,

Rep. Benjamin Kalu
Spokesperson, House of Representatives
Member, Bende Fed. Constituency
