The Member representing Bende Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Rep. Benjamin Kalu was awarded by Flo 94.9 Fm Umuahia as the ‘Most Impactful Lawmaker of the Year’ at the Flo Icons Award in celebration of their 5th Anniversary on Friday 25th March, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia.
The Lawmaker who was unavoidably absent at the award ceremony was ably represented by the Director General of the Ben Kalu Movement, Hon. Emma Trumps Eke and other members of his team to the award.
Rep. Kalu in a recorded speech expressed gratitude to Flo 94.9 Fm for recognizing him for such award at this time stating that it is indeed a much needed encouragement to do much more especially in the media. He acknowledged the station for their efficiency in his partnership with him through the Ben Kalu’s Mandate and assured them of continued synergy to keep transmitting information to Bende Constituents and Abians in general.
The Representative pledged to do more to ensure the dividends of democracy is felt not just by his constituents but also across the state.
