The Alayi community joined in the celebration galore as the Member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Rep. Benjamin Kalu commissioned the solar powered borehole recently completed at Amankalu Alayi, Bende.
The President General, Amankalu Alayi Development Union, Chief Emeka Eze, expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the community, narrating the difficulties they have faced trying to access clean water in the past. He stated that the joy of the Alayi people knows no bounds seeing the projects coming into Alayi. Chief Eze while commending the Representative for his outstanding performance in the last two years, prayed for God’s grace and wisdom upon his life as he continues to do more for Alayi and the entire Bende Federal Constituency.
The National Vice President, Amankalu Alayi Community, Mr. John Ekemede, in his speech mentioned that Alayi has never seen it this way before even after having the former Representative from their community. He added that regardless of a being a member of the opposition party, he is still amazed at the performance of the Rep. Benjamin Kalu. He assured the member of the support of Alayi youths come 2023.
The Representative while commissioning the borehole assured the community that this is one out of many other projects that will be coming to them, he mentioned the road currently under construction that will be completed soon.
Rep. Kalu went ahead to commission the project, praying in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit.
