It was a day of jubilation for the women of Amaogwu Bende as the Rep. Benjamin Kalu, member representing Bende Federal Constituency commissioned a maternity health center in Amaogwu Bende, Bende LGA, Abia State.
Mrs. Ihuoma Johnbosco while speaking at the project commissioning, thanked the representative for remembering the women by renovating the maternity health center, adding that before now, they have had some casualties as a result of poor infrastructure in the center.
In his response, Rep. Kalu stated that health is a priority for him and this is why he is committed to see that all of these facilities are fixed. He urged the community to maintain the center and guard it jealously.
He thanked the leaders and members of the community for their continuous support and assured them of more projects to come in a short while.
