On Sunday, February 24, 2019, INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Maxwell Ezeja, declared Chief Benjamin Kalu (BenKalu) winner of the recently concluded elections for Bende Federal House of Representatives.
As soon as news of BenKalu’s victory hit the streets, all communities of Bende Local Government simultaneously erupted in jubilation, singing and dancing in the streets.
