Benjamin Kalu stormed Uzuakoli on Friday, 7th December 2018 with an unusually large number of vehicles in his convoy.
The APC candidate for the position of House of Representatives, Bende Federal Constituency who had just returned from a period of rest with his family in Australia after winning his party’s primaries, told Drum Africa News that his intention was to energize his campaign structure’s leadership.
He was warmly received by the people of Uzuakoli and representatives of the various wards in Bende Federal Constituency who were happy and jubilant to see him. The meeting was graced by several APC stalwarts in Abia State and items such as branded t shirts, face caps, exercise books and wristbands were distributed among the attendees. Benjamin Kalu declared his desire to flag off his campaign and promised to announce the flag-off date soon.
