The Federal Government has officially fixed a date for the ground breaking ceremony of the Umuimenyi Nkpa Road/Ecological Sites project recently approved by the Federal Executive Council.
The 1.3bn project which was attracted by the Member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu will involve the construction of an 11km road cutting across five communities in Umuimenyi Nkpa, to address the ecological challenges and environmental degradation of communities in Bende.
The event is set to hold on the 27th of August, 2021 by 11am prompt.
In a statement released by the Director General of the Bende Federal Constituency Office, Hon. Emmanuel Trump Eke, he expressed gratitude to the President for putting Bende into consideration and awarding such enormous project to alleviate the suffering of the people, highlighting that this is an indication of greater things to come.
Rep. Benjamin Kalu in addition called the good people of Bende Federal Constituency irrespective of party lines to join in this remarkable event in celebration of good things that have come to Bende Federal Constituency.
